Sonata Jakucioniene was born in 1974, in Vilnius. She graduated from Vilnius Pedagogical College in 1995 and acquired a qualification as a kindergarten teacher.

1995 - 1999 she worked as a teacher in Vilnius "Vandenis" kindergarten. Sonata graduated from Siauliai University pedagogical Faculty of primary education in 1999 and acquired the bachelor degree as a primary teacher. Also in 1999 she acquired a qualification of a senior teacher.

Sonata is inventive, creative and exceptionally bright at her job. Using a great variety of teaching methods she developed children's individualities and motivates them to learn. Her priority in teaching is an individual approach. Specific area of Sonata is drama. She made up a drama club "Barbora's stories" in our kindergarten. She and her children took part in different city festival and celebration, shows. All costumes and dresses were designed and made by her.

Sonata is open to new ideas and willing to share them with her colleagues. She is open - minded and sincere. Sonata constantly participated in seminars held by The Center for Teacher's Professional Development.

Sonata has worked at a nursery - school for two years. Her work experience as a pedagogue is six years. Mostly she worked with three - to seven - years old. For the excellent work she acquired a qualification of a senior teacher.

Sonata possesses an excellent ability to guide children in their games and takes part in their activities. She is very quick at building good relations with children, because she is cheerful, friendly, sociable and treats children with trust and respect. Sonata is temperamentally highly suited to this job. Children enjoy communicating with her and their parents appreciate Sonata for that. Moreover she is a kind of a pedagogue who treats children with respect to their individualities. For example Sonata showed a great patience working with a four - years boy with behavior problems. Her pedagogic tact helped him to adapt to the rest of the group.

Also she related to people very well and is easy to work with in a team. Furthermore Sonata is open to new ideas and to try out new teaching methods.

Sonata is interested in art and theatre and gets children interested in self - expressing too. Also she takes part in children performances herself.
