Personal information
My name is Sonata Jakucioniene, I am Lithuanian.I was born on 27 December, 1974 in Vilnius, Lithuania.
I am married, my husband Sigitas has doctor's degree in technological sciences. He is working as a software engineer in Cúram Software, Dublin. We have daughter Ugne, she is 16 months old.
I'm not smoking person. I do not drink.
Qualification
In 2003 I was studying Montessori method in School of Practical Childcare (Dublin) and was awarded Certificate in Foundation Studies in the Montessori Method of Education.In year 1999 I have been given qualification of Senior Educator by Ministry of Education and Science of Lithuania.
1995-1999 I was studying ELEMENTARY EDUCATION at Siauliai University Faculty of Education. In 1999 I have got Bachelor's degree for EDUCOLOGY and the qualification of elementary school teacher.
1992-1995 I was studying PRE-SCHOOL EDUCATION program at Vilnius Pedagogical Higher School. In year 1995 I was awarded qualification of pre-school educator.
I also completed additional courses: HANDCRAFTS courses at Siauliai University Faculty of Education (220 hours), training of OPENESS TO INNOVATIONS at Lithuanian Pedagogues Qualification Institute in 1996 (18 hours), EDUCATION BY ARTS - CHILDREN SELF-EXPRESSION, IMPROVISATION AND CREATIVENESS ABILITIES SPREAD at Lithuanian Pedagogues Qualification Institute in 1996 (30 hours) and 1998 (36 hours).
1992 I have graduated from Vilnius Secondary school No. 59.
Work Experience
September 2002 - June 2003 I was working as a childminder in Dublin. I was responsible for collecting 5 years old child from the school and providing sole care until evening.
1999-2001 I worked as a teacher at a LAZDYNELIS nursery - school. Mostly I worked with 3-7 years old children. There were 15 children in my group.
1995-1999 I worked as a teacher at Vilnius VANDENIS kindergarten. There were 15-20 children 2-7 years old in my group. I organised a drama club of kindergarten. I have designed and made all costumes and dresses.

Other information
I like to communicate with children. My priority in teaching is individual approach. It is very important to get into the world of a child, to make friends with a child. I give the main focus on children self expression and creativity. Children and I paint a lot, make handcrafts, play and improvise to the music. I think that the main thing for children is to feel safe and to be loved. When children feel it, they are very open to the world of knowledge.
It is easy for me to work in team. I'm open to new ideas and willing to try out new teaching methods.
